Project Overview

The Town of Yucca Valley is has an exciting two-fold project – New Directions for Yucca Valley: Old Town Specific Plan and State Route 62 Streetscape Master Plan. The community-based projects are focused on revitalizing Old Town into a pedestrian-oriented small town downtown that preserves the history and values of Old Town.   Your participation is essential for the success of the projects, whether you are a property owner, business owner, a community member, or belong to a local organization.

The New Directions Community Immersion from June 2^nd through June 12^th will kick off the projects with opportunities for you to take part in different activities, including:  an informative introductory workshop, walking tours, focused discussion groups, and hands-on design workshops.  Your thoughts and ideas about streetscape design, economic development, infrastructure, traffic and circulation, and new directions for your Town are important contributions throughout the week.
