About the Project

The Town of Yucca Valley is initiating an exciting two-fold project – New Directions for Yucca Valley: Old Town Specific Plan and State Route 62 Streetscape Master Plan. The project is focused on revitalizing Old Town and energizing the corridor along State Route 62 and will create a plan for the future that preserves the history and values of Old Town.   Your participation is essential for the success of the project, whether you are a property owner, business owner, a community member, or belong to a local organization.

The New Directions Immersion Week from June 2^nd through June 12^th will kick off the project with opportunities for you to take part in different activities, including:  an informative introductory workshop, walking tours, focused discussion groups, and hands-on design workshops.  Your thoughts and ideas about the streetscape design, economic development, infrastructure, traffic and circulation, and new directions for your Town are important contributions throughout the week.
